A simple way to photograph your current hair before you explore a new cut.
Start straight on
Use one clear front photo with your full face and hair visible. Keep the camera near eye level and look toward it. A strong camera angle changes the proportions the tool can read.
Let the light do less
Stand in even, natural light if possible. Harsh shadows, colored lighting and beauty filters can change how your face and hair look in the photo.
Add the sides when you can
Left and right profile photos are optional, but they help show your current length, volume and hairline. Keep the same lighting and avoid covering your hair with a hat.
